The fragments of Barbie’s porcelain body in my jewelry, express my doubts and struggles with feminine norms. What are the standards of a model daughter, a best girlfriend, a perfect wife, an exemplary mother… We always strive to fulfill the roles in the eyes of others and ourselves, but we seldom have the awareness and courage to face ourselves. Although women have now gained some freedom, it is still difficult to get rid of the old moral control exercised by society and the family over them.
